Hi, I’m Vaishnavi

The Internet of Things (IoT) fascinates me it’s incredible how, with just a tap, we can order a meal, book a movie, or connect with someone halfway across the world. It’s mind-blowing to think about how far the internet has come in just a few decades. What excites me even more is the opportunity this space holds for design creating seamless, intuitive experiences for people interacting with technology that’s actively shaping and improving our lives.

For me, design isn’t just a job it’s a mindset I live in. Whether I’m in the middle of a conversation, walking through a market, or simply lost in thought in the shower, I find myself observing the world through a design lens. I often catch myself wondering: Why is it made this way? Could it be better? What would improve this experience? These moments spark ideas that I can’t wait to explore further. It’s this constant curiosity that drives me to not only notice the world around me but to quietly redesign it in my mind, one interaction at a time.

Background

I grew up in India surrounded by art, and from a very early age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in design. I went on to earn my undergraduate degree in Industrial Design from Florence Design Academy in Florence, Italy, graduating with the highest honors.

Later, I pursued a Master of Science in Information Design and Data Visualization at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, further expanding my ability to tell powerful stories through design and data.
